The Special Resident Retiree's Visa (SRRV) is a special non-immigrant resident visa that provides its holders with multiple-entry and indefinite stay status in the Philippines.
The SIRV entitles the holder to reside in the Philippines. Initially, investors obtain a probationary residence, which will be converted to a Philippines permanent residency (indefinite), permitting multiple entry privileges so long as the investments remain in the Philippines.
The ASRV is a special permanent residency visa acquired by becoming a member of the Aurora Special Economic Zone (APECO), a regional development project established by the national government and provincial authorities as per Republic Act No. 9460 and Republic Act 10083.
With the 9g visa, the foreigner is entitled to legitimately work and stay in the country for a duration approved by the Bureau of Immigration, which should correspond with his employment contract. A requisite to this visa is the Alien Employment Permit (AEP), issued by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Limited to only 50 visas a year, this is granted to foreign nationals who have enough financial capital and have extraordinary skills or qualifications that can benefit the country.
